So we are here on the Interwebs with our badges, links and fancy html coded whatchamacalits ready to help the puppers. Bear with us as we learn our way around. Our plan is to share the stories behind the pictures ... the dogs, the rescuers, the fosters, the adoptive families and our supporters in the community.
Why did I get involved? Well, I do not have a beagle. I have three rescued dogs -- two rottie/shepherd mixes and a chihuahua. We also have rescued cats. I met the founder of Forever Home, Julie, through my partner and think she does great work. So I offered to help by putting my prodigious blogging skills to good use. Hence, the blog. :-)
I'm really hoping the leveraging the blogophere, Twitter and other social media can help a small rescue reach some really modest goals -- $500 for organizational paperwork, a $$ cushion for medical emergencies and a supply of pet food. I guess we'll find out.
